Brückner Inks Deal With Uzbek Company At ITM 2024
At ITM 2024, Brückner Trockentechnik GmbH & Co. KG is making a significant impact with its wide range of advanced textile machinery technologies. Verena Ruckh, Head of Advertising & Marketing, discussed the company’s offerings and the response at the exhibition, emphasizing Brückner’s comprehensive product portfolio and recent innovations.
“ITM is very important for us because it’s not only a Turkish exhibition but also attracts visitors from surrounding countries, Asia and Northern Africa,” Ruckh explained. Brückner is well-known for producing stenter frames, but their capabilities extend far beyond that. “We have Sanfor ranges, Relax dryers, and have been active in coating ranges, glass fibre finishing, carpet finishing and coating for the past 20 years. There are so many more things that we can offer to our customers.”
A highlight of Brückner’s showcase at ITM 2024 is their development in digital products. Ruckh introduced their latest innovation, the ExperTex system, which was launched last year at ITMA. “ExperTex is a software where customers can calculate how much thermal or electrical energy their process needs and what it costs to make a special production before they start. This can help customers save energy, reduce resources like water and chemicals, and stay competitive by making more production at a cheaper price,” she explained.
When asked about the response at ITM 2024, Ruckh noted mixed results. “The first day was too quiet. The second day was good but still did not meet our expectations compared to the exhibition we had two years ago. However, the third day is okay for us. We met many customers with concrete projects, and we hope it continues like that.”
Brückner achieved a significant milestone by signing a contract with a new customer from Uzbekistan. “We signed a contract with an Uzbek company, marking a new customer for Brückner. This is very special,” Ruckh shared.
