Decathlon Extends LFP Partnership Through 2032

Decathlon has renewed and expanded its partnership with the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), becoming a Major Partner of the league through 2032.
Under the renewed five-season agreement covering 2027-2032, Decathlon will continue supplying the official match balls for Ligue 1 McDonald’s and Ligue 2 BKT competitions through its football brand KIPSTA.
The upgraded partnership will provide Decathlon with increased visibility across league matches and digital platforms while further strengthening collaboration with French professional football stakeholders.
The official match balls will continue to be designed and developed at Decathlon’s team sports design centre in Tourcoing, France. The company said the partnership supports innovation in football equipment while promoting French manufacturing expertise and product development.
Jérémie Siino said the renewal reinforces the credibility of KIPSTA products at the highest level of professional football and reflects the brand’s commitment to making high-performance equipment accessible to all players.
The new partnership cycle also includes a sustainability focus, with both organizations aiming to develop more durable footballs and reduce replacement frequency without compromising performance.
Matthieu Maignal said the collaboration reflects a shared ambition to promote innovative and high-performance French expertise across professional football competitions.
The partnership is also expected to support broader fan engagement and international visibility through Decathlon’s extensive retail network.
