Global Brands H&M & Target Exhibiting At Bharat Tex 2024
Foreign companies and brands like H&M, Target, CIEL Group from Mauritius, Busana Group from Indonesia, Chargeurs PPC from France and Hyosung will participate at upcoming Bharat Tex 2024.
Perennials and Sutherland LLC, and Coats Group from the UK are also among the other foreign companies participating among the 3,000 exhibitors who have confirmed participation at Bharat Tex 2024.
Scheduled from February 26-29, the inaugural edition of the expo will feature around 2,000 weavers and artisans showcasing their handicraft and handloom products.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate Bharat Tex 2024 Expo, encompassing exhibits ranging from fibre and yarn to fabric, apparel, home textiles, technical textiles, and handicrafts.
Bharat Tex 2024 is positioned as a crucial catalyst for propelling India’s apparel exports to reach $40 billion by 2030, with an overarching goal of pushing overall exports to $100 billion.
India envisions its textile exports soaring to $100 billion and the economic value of the industry’s output hitting $250 billion by 2030, with apparel alone surging from $16 billion to $40 billion during this period.
Prominent Indian exhibitors include Aditya Birla Group, Reliance Group, Arvind Fashion, Welspun Living, Indorama Ventures, Trident Group, PDS and Shahi.
Ministerial and business delegations from key textiles hubs, including Australia, Italy, Turkey, South Korea, Bangladesh, Russia, Peru, Egypt, and Thailand, are also expected to attend the exhibition.
