Hengju Launches 30,000-Ton Spandex Project With Advanced Automation

Hengju’s 30,000-ton differentiated functional spandex project in collaboration with Hengshen Group has successfully entered the production phase, with qualified products now being produced. This marks a significant milestone in the chemical fiber sector.

Hengshen Spandex is the only small and medium-sized enterprise in the spandex industry to expand production capacity during this current expansion cycle. The project, which has an investment of nearly 900 million yuan, features advanced intelligent production processes. The entire production line, from packaging to warehousing, has been automated, ensuring high precision, traceability, and significant improvements in both production efficiency and product quality. The core production equipment includes imported machinery and adopts industry-leading technologies such as multi-end spinning. This enables the production of specialized spandex products like high-temperature resistant spandex, high-elongation spandex, easy-to-set spandex, acid-dyeable spandex, and high-resilience, high-stress spandex.

In addition to the spandex project, Hengju has successfully launched a polyamide project with an annual output of 220,000 tons and a differentiated nylon filament project with an annual output of 70,000 tons. Located within the integrated industrial park, these projects leverage the park’s robust infrastructure, including water, electricity, and steam, to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
