India ITME Society Launches Textile Horizons 2026 International Conference

India ITME Society has announced the launch of Textile Horizons 2026, a two-day international conference scheduled to be held on December 5–6, 2026, at India Exposition Mart Limited alongside India ITME 2026.
The conference, with Fibre2Fashion as the Knowledge Partner, will run concurrently with India ITME 2026, which is scheduled from December 4–9, 2026. Textile Horizons 2026 is being positioned as a strategic knowledge platform aimed at addressing the evolving technological, operational and sustainability challenges facing the textile industry.
While the exhibition will focus on machinery showcases and business networking, the conference will bring together global industry stakeholders to discuss the future of textile manufacturing amid rising investments, sustainability mandates and rapid technological transformation.
The initiative comes at a time when India’s textile sector is witnessing significant structural changes, supported by government initiatives such as the PM MITRA scheme and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) programme, which are accelerating investments in integrated manufacturing and man-made fibre production. Simultaneously, global sustainability requirements, including zero liquid discharge (ZLD) compliance and stricter sourcing standards, are reshaping manufacturing benchmarks across the industry.
Textile Horizons 2026 will focus on two key themes Technology & Efficiency and Sustainability & Circular Economy. The conference agenda will include discussions on smart manufacturing, artificial intelligence and IoT integration, robotics in textile production, energy optimisation, circular design, low-impact processing technologies and compliance frameworks.
The two-day programme will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, technology showcases and industry case studies involving global technology providers, sustainability experts, policymakers, brands and sourcing leaders.
“The conference strengthens the overall value proposition of India ITME by creating a structured forum for knowledge exchange alongside the exhibition,” said Dr. Seema Srivastava. “It aligns with our objective of supporting industry modernisation and fostering meaningful engagement across the textile value chain.”
The conference is expected to attract textile and garment manufacturers, machinery suppliers, fibre and yarn producers, brands, retailers, research institutions, sustainability consultants and investors. Organisers said the event is being curated primarily for industry decision-makers, including owners, managing directors, plant heads and sourcing executives.
Textile Horizons 2026 will also complement other flagship India ITME initiatives such as the CEO Conclave, India ITME Technical Awards and networking programmes, along with B2B engagement opportunities on the exhibition floor.
Entry to the conference will be free for registered visitors of India ITME 2026, while sponsorship opportunities across multiple categories are currently open.
