Mango Launches AI-Powered Virtual Fashion Assistant: Mango Stylist

Mango, one of the world’s leading international fashion retailers, has taken a major step in personalising the digital shopping journey with the launch of Mango Stylist, a generative AI-powered fashion assistant. This conversational tool is designed to transform how customers discover and combine garments by offering real-time, personalised styling recommendations and trend-based inspiration.
Currently available in nine markets including Spain, Portugal, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Turkey, and the United States, Mango Stylist is initially tailored for the Woman line and can be accessed via Mango’s e-commerce platform and Instagram account. It marks a pioneering move in the fashion sector, blending traditional online browsing with interactive, AI-driven engagement.
Powered by advanced algorithms, Mango Stylist analyses users’ preferences and browsing behaviour to suggest curated looks, helping shoppers explore new styles and make confident purchase decisions. It’s more than just a chatbot, it functions as a personal stylist, enabling users to chat naturally while receiving tailored fashion advice.
The development of Mango Stylist is the result of collaboration between Mango’s multidisciplinary teams, including IT, data, digital product, styling, design, visual merchandising and customer service. The tool also integrates with Iris, Mango’s after-sales virtual assistant, creating a unified conversational experience across the customer journey from product discovery to order tracking.
This launch aligns with Mango’s 2024–2026 Strategic Plan, under the “Earn” pillar, which aims to drive value through technological development, artificial intelligence and operational excellence.
