Pointcarre Expands Into Pakistan’s Textile Market With Advanced CAD Solutions

Pointcarre Textile Software, a global leader in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for textiles, has expanded into Pakistan, establishing a dedicated team to modernize design workflows for weavers, printers, and knit manufacturers. The company’s integrated solution, supporting dobby weaving, Jacquard, printing, and knit design, is now available in Pakistan, catering to both Mac and PC users.
This strategic move aligns with Pointcarre’s vision to transform traditional textile creation processes. Already adopted by industry leaders like Gohar Textile Mills, the software is rapidly gaining traction in the market.
“We’re not just offering software; we are committed to supporting users through training and education,” said Freddy Brault, CEO of Pointcarre, following his meeting with Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar (S.I), Rector of the National Textile University, Faisalabad.
Led by Waqas Tariq, the Pakistani team will focus on software distribution, training, and technical support. “Many in the industry are using outdated software—or none at all. The challenge is enormous,” said Tariq, whose team has already begun training sessions to make the technology more accessible across the sector.
Pointcarre’s AI-driven tools aim to simplify textile design by automating repetitive tasks, allowing designers to focus on creativity and color variations. The company is also investing in training the next generation of textile professionals, equipping them with advanced tools to optimize workflows.
With its expansion into Pakistan, Pointcarre reinforces its global presence and commitment to driving innovation in textile design, offering tailored solutions that address the specific needs of the local industry.
