Roland DG’s BN-20D Printer Earns OEKO-TEX® Certification For Safe Textile Printing

Roland DG Corporation, a prominent manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and printer/cutters, has announced that the ink and powder used in the VersaSTUDIO BN-20D, a compact Direct-To-Film (DTF transfer) printer, have earned OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT certification. This international standard guarantees the safety of textile products.

OEKO-TEX® comprises independent institutes in Europe and Japan, with a global presence, committed to upholding the highest safety and sustainability standards in production worldwide.

ECO PASSPORT stands as an independent certification system for chemicals, colorants and auxiliaries utilized in the textile industry. It verifies that each component in chemical products adheres to statutory requirements and poses no harm to human health.

The BN-20D is an inkjet printer versatile enough to handle a variety of materials, including cotton, polyester, cotton-polyester blends, denim, nylon, rayon, and more. This capability empowers businesses to create original T-shirts and sportswear through a straightforward process. Its broad range of capabilities and remarkable efficiency have garnered global attention within the apparel goods decoration industry.
