Sieger Spintech’s Products Cater To The Need For Efficient & Affordable Automation In Turkish Market

As a prominent player in the industry, Sieger Spintech has been serving the Turkish market for over two decades, providing innovative automation solutions to meet the evolving needs of the sector. Anandhakumar S., Vice President – Exports at Sieger Spintech, shared insights into the Turkish market and Sieger’s contributions to the spinning industry during ITM 2024.

“Turkish market, I would say, is one of the biggest markets for all machinery manufacturers to consider,” Anandhakumar stated. With an installation base of close to 10 million spindles, Turkey is a significant hub for the spinning industry. Its strategic geographical location supports speedy shipments to Europe, making it a key market for modernization and business growth. Anandhakumar emphasized, “In Sieger’s perspective, we are with this market for more than two decades. We have supplied close to five dozen yarn conditioning equipments and also some intralogistics automation.”

At ITM 2024, Sieger Spintech is promoting a range of automation products tailored to meet the demands of Turkish clients. “The market demand comes mainly into automation. In automation also, I would say affordable automation,” Anandhakumar explained. The rising cost of labour and its availability have driven the need for automation in the industry. “Especially after last year’s unfortunate incident of an earthquake, many factories are finding it difficult to find operators. So their priority now, equal to any production machine, is to automate to reduce manpower and also to improve air quality and speed.”

Sieger Spintech’s offerings include lab transport systems, roving transport systems, cone package transport systems, and automated storage warehouses, all integrated with smart software solutions. These products cater to the need for efficient and affordable automation in the Turkish market.

Reflecting on the event’s progress, Anandhakumar noted, “Rather than the count of footfall, I was happy with the quality of footfall. We had interesting discussions. We had serious discussions with potential clients and also the kind of products that we focus on the market demand.” The interactions at ITM 2024 have been promising, with potential deals on the horizon. “We are close to finalizing. Hopefully in the next few weeks, we may be able to proceed further,” he added.
