Texprocess & Techtextil 2026 Set To Drive Global Innovation In T&A Sectors

The upcoming editions of Techtextil and Texprocess, scheduled to be held from April 21 to 24, 2026, in Frankfurt am Main, are witnessing strong early interest from exhibitors worldwide, underlining their importance as premier global platforms for textile innovation and processing technologies.

According to Sabine Scharrer, Director, Brand Management, Technical Textiles & Textile Processing at Messe Frankfurt, the high level of advance bookings highlights the growth strategy of the two leading trade fairs and their relevance to the evolving needs of the global textile value chain.

At Texprocess 2026, exhibitors from across all product groups—ranging from cutting and sewing to finishing—have already confirmed their participation. Returning names include Brother Internationale Industriemaschinen, Gütermann (Germany), Morgan Tecnica (Italy), Robotech (Turkey), Sheffield Cutting Equipment (USA), Style3D | Assyst, Veit, and Zünd Germany. Several new entrants are also joining for the first time, such as Amann (Germany), Coloreel (Sweden), Comelz, Cutting Edge Automation Machines (Italy), and Pathfinder Australia.

With automation, digitalisation and AI continuing to reshape the industry, many exhibitors are set to unveil high-efficiency, intelligent processing solutions aimed at addressing the growing demands of the international market.

Meanwhile, Techtextil 2026, the leading trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, is also attracting robust participation. Registered exhibitors include industry leaders such as Concordia Textiles (Belgium), Groz-Beckert (Germany), Klopman International (Italy), Kolon Industries (Korea), Lenzing, Sattler Pro-Tex (Austria), Sioen (Belgium), and Schill+Seilacher (Germany). Newcomers to the fair include DyStar (Singapore), Indorama Ventures Fibers Germany, Monteiro Ribas (Portugal), TreeToTextile (Sweden), and Woolmark (Germany). The event will showcase the full spectrum of high-performance technical textiles, with buyers from diverse sectors—such as automotive and apparel—seeking bespoke material innovations.

In a significant development, Hall 9.0 at Techtextil 2026 will host two new dedicated areas: one for Textile Chemicals & Dyes, which is already generating strong interest, and another for Performance Apparel Textiles, strategically located alongside the Fibres & Yarns segment. The proximity to Texprocess in Hall 8.0 is expected to foster greater collaboration and accessibility for visitors from the apparel industry.

With innovation, sustainability and cross-sector synergies at the forefront, both Texprocess and Techtextil 2026 are poised to set the stage for industry-defining advancements and international business opportunities.
