UMPESL Partners With Danitech To Bring Advanced Textile Processing Solutions To India

Universal MEP Projects & Engineering Services Limited (UMPESL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Voltas Limited, a Tata Enterprise, has entered into a strategic agency agreement with Danitech Group, a global provider of textile dyeing, finishing and automation technologies. Danitech is represented under the partnership by Danitech Engineering & Solutions Srl (Italy) and its subsidiary, Suzhou Danitech Intelligent Technology (China).
Under the agreement, UMPESL will act as Danitech’s exclusive partner in India for the promotion, sales, technical consultancy and after-sales support of its complete range of textile processing solutions. The partnership will work closely with Danitech’s global headquarters to ensure seamless delivery of advanced technologies and customer support.
The collaboration combines Danitech’s expertise in textile engineering with UMPESL’s extensive market reach, project execution capabilities and nationwide service network. With more than 70 years of experience in the textile sector, UMPESL provides end-to-end solutions across the textile value chain, from spinning to garmenting.
The alliance aims to strengthen the Indian textile industry’s access to advanced processing technologies, automation systems and energy-efficient solutions, while enhancing lifecycle service support. It also reflects the shared commitment of both companies to driving innovation, operational efficiency and sustainable growth in the sector.
The agreement was signed by Danilo Cagnazzi, Chairman of Danitech, and Pradip Roy, Head – Textile Division, UMPESL, in the presence of B. Saikumar, Head – Post Spinning, UMPESL, and Jie Yin, CEO, Danitech.
