Apparel Group Strikes Major Licensing Deal With Marquee Brands For GCC And India
Global fashion conglomerate, Apparel Group, has entered into a significant multi-brand licensing deal with Marquee Brands LLC. This partnership covers licensing agreements for five of Marquee’s signature brands – BCBG, Ben Sherman, Bruno Magli, Sur la table, and Martha Stewart – in the GCC and India regions.
This collaboration aims to introduce the distinctive styles and narratives of these five brands to a vast audience in regions with a combined GDP exceeding 5 trillion USD. Both companies share a common goal of meeting the increasing demand for luxury and contemporary products in these areas, thereby offering consumers a wider range of choices and styles.
Heath L. Golden, President of Marquee Brands, emphasized the strategic importance of this move, highlighting their plan to expand brand categories and geographical coverage. He stated that by introducing these five brands to the GCC and India, they will reach nearly 1.5 billion people. Golden expressed confidence in local consumers embracing their brands through Apparel Group’s innovative retail approach.
