Mesdan To Showcase Latest Textile Solutions At ITM 2026
MESDAN S.p.A., a leading manufacturer of yarn joining solutions and textile testing equipment, is set to participate in ITM 2026, scheduled to be held at the Tuyap Exhibition Centre in Istanbul from June 9 to 13.
The company will exhibit at the booth of its Turkish agent, SARTEKS MAKINA, located at Hall 7, Stand 701A.
At the exhibition, Mesdan will present EVENEXT, its next-generation evenness tester designed for testing all types of natural and manmade spun yarns, as well as sliver and roving. The modular system is equipped with a hairiness sensor and can be upgraded with an automatic cop-changing system and creel arrangement capable of testing up to 24 bobbins automatically.
The company said the new EVENEXT version incorporates ceramic sensors for enhanced accuracy, improved consistency of results and reduced influence from ambient conditions. The system also features updated mechanical and electronic components along with intuitive and flexible software.
Mesdan will also display BURSTMATIC II, its pneumatic bursting strength tester used for analysing the resistance of woven and knitted fabrics to bursting strength. The machine is additionally designed for release-and-extension cycle tests, including hysteresis and fatigue testing. It supports interchangeable domes to comply with multiple international and private testing standards across different textile materials.
Meanwhile, at the Savio area within the Vandewiele spinning booth in Hall 7, Stand 710A, Mesdan will showcase its latest innovation, the SEAMLESS SPLICER.
The company describes the SEAMLESS SPLICER as a breakthrough development in yarn joining technology, integrating mechanics, electronics and intelligent control systems into a single automated platform. The joining process is fully managed through dedicated software and firmware to ensure high precision and consistent performance.
A dedicated presentation of the automatic splicer integrated with the PROXIMA winding machine will also be organised for selected Savio customers during the exhibition.
