Welspun Living Revenue Up 19% Between April & December

In the first nine months of fiscal ending March 31, 2024, total revenue at home textiles producer and exporter Welpsun Living reached Rs 72,084 million, up an impressive 19.7 percent year on year.

“The flagship brand, ‘Welspun,’ maintains its position as the most widely distributed home textile brand in India with a presence across 600 towns and over 17,006 outlets,” the company said in a press release.

“This widespread availability and brand recognition solidify Welspun Living’s leadership position in the Indian market,” the BK Goenka led company added in a press release.

“Despite the headwinds, we have achieved our highest ever third quarter revenue, growing by 29 percent,” BK Goenka said.

“We are encouraged by the anticipated interest rate cut in 2024 and controlled inflation in the US. However, geopolitical tensions pose potential challenges regarding costs and demand,” he added.

“Our focus remains on navigating these challenges effectively while capitalising on the immense growth potential in our emerging businesses, which currently contribute 32 percent to our total revenue,” he stated.

The company said its strategic investments in jacquard towels and US pillow manufacturing are a testament to its unwavering commitment to innovation, expansion, and long-term growth.
