Wrangler Teams Up With Accelerating Circularity To Launch Circular Jeans at Walmart

Wrangler has teamed up with Accelerating Circularity to launch jeans made with 26% recycled cotton—half from post-consumer waste, half from post-industrial sources—now available at Walmart. This marks a major milestone in bringing circular fashion to mainstream retail.
Part of Accelerating Circularity’s U.S. trials, 23 tonnes each of post-consumer and post-industrial cotton were recycled through a collaborative supply chain, including Bank & Vogue, Martex, Giotex, Estopas, Parkdale, and Cone Denim.
Key Highlights:
- 26% recycled content in denim—unprecedented for mass-market products
- Proven performance, meeting durability standards of major brands
- Supply chain collaboration ensured scalable production
“This launch proves circularity is real and scalable,” said Karla Magruder, founder of Accelerating Circularity.
As the initiative progresses, the next goal is to recycle 325 tonnes of used textiles under its Clinton Global Initiative Commitment to Action.
