Schützen Named Top 5 Finalist In Sustainable Textiles Innovation

The International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative Centre (ISC3) has announced the finalists for its 5th Innovation Challenge in Sustainable Chemistry and Textiles, with Schützen Chemical Group from India making it to the list of top 5 global finalists.

Selected from a competitive field of global applicants, these finalists represent cutting-edge innovations driving sustainable practices in the textile industry.

The finalists include:

  • Schützen Chemical Group (India): Specializing in bio-based and biodegradable textile and leather chemicals.
  • dimpora AG (Switzerland): Innovators of PFAS-free, waterproof and breathable textile membranes.
  • DNACotton (Turkey): Pioneers in blockchain-based genetic tagging for textile traceability.
  • Polybion (Mexico): Creators of biomaterials derived from agro-industrial fruit waste.
  • Renasens AB (Sweden): Developers of waterless technology for recycling textile waste.

These finalists will showcase their innovations at the ISC3 Investor Forum 2024 on October 30/31 in Frankfurt, Germany, held during the Impact Festival. Here, they will present their solutions live to international audience and compete for the top prize of €15,000. Additionally, two special impact awards of €5,000 each will be conferred during the event.
