Circ Secures New Investment To Scale Textile-To-Textile Recycling

Circ, the US-based pioneer in textile-to-textile recycling, has closed its latest funding round led by Taranis through its Carbon Ventures fund, with continued support from existing strategic investors Inditex and Avery Dennison. This funding builds on Circ’s technical and commercial progress over the past 18 months and will support the scaling of its groundbreaking recycling technology, advancing its mission to transform fashion industry waste into a circular solution.
Circ remains the only company with the proven ability to recycle polycotton blends and recover both fractions for textiles. The company has already established successful collaborations with brands like Zara, Mara Hoffman, United Arrows, and Christian Siriano.
The partnership with Taranis, owned by the Perenco Group, brings more than capital—Taranis’s expertise in developing and operating large industrial projects will be instrumental in scaling Circ’s technology to an industrial level.
“This chapter of Circ’s journey—scaling textile recycling to an industrial level—requires that we build on our proven technology with world-class engineering, operations, and strategic investment from mission-aligned partners,” said Peter Majeranowski, CEO of Circ. “Taranis brings exactly that. Their industrial expertise, paired with our innovation, positions Circ to accelerate the transition to a circular fashion economy.”
Emmanuel Colombel, CEO of Taranis, added, “Circ has developed and demonstrated a breakthrough solution for circularity in fashion. Our goal is to support scalable, pragmatic technologies that reduce waste and emissions. Circ’s vision aligns perfectly with that mission, and we’re excited to support Circ in its journey toward a more circular and responsible fashion industry.”
Continued backing from Inditex and Avery Dennison—leaders in the global fashion industry—further validates Circ’s progress and momentum. This latest investment and strategic partnership bring Circ closer to making circularity the industry standard.
